Dirk Sahlmer

Dirk Sahlmer has spent his career at the intersection of engineering, entrepreneurship, and SaaS M&A. He began as an engineer before co-founding a SaaS company, which gave him first-hand insight into building and scaling a business. Later, at saas.group, Dirk built the origination function from the ground up, evaluating thousands of SaaS businesses and leading multiple acquisitions. He is also active as a writer and speaker on SaaS metrics, valuations, and acquisition strategy, sharing insights through his newsletter and industry events.
