We are pleased to announce the acquisition of HealthIM Inc., a public-safety and mental health technology company, by Pender Software Holdings Ltd. (PSH), a Vancouver-based software investment firm backed by the Pender Growth Fund (TSXV: PTF).
Founded in 2014, HealthIM equips first responders and health professionals with the ability to manage mental health and substance-use crises more safely and effectively. Its solution integrates pre-response safety briefings, a standardized risk screener, secure inter-agency communication, and real-time analytics to improve crisis outcomes, enhance safety, and increase accountability. HealthIM’s platform is widely used by law enforcement and healthcare agencies across Canada and has begun expansion into the U.S. market.
Pender Software Holdings focuses on acquiring and scaling software companies with a commitment to long-term ownership. The acquisition of HealthIM marks PSH’s strategic entry into the public safety and healthcare technology space, where it intends to expand HealthIM’s footprint across North America while preserving the operational autonomy of its experienced management team.

The transaction was initiated when HealthIM engaged FE International to explore strategic options. The co-founders sought an exit while ensuring continuity of service for HealthIM’s customers and partners.
